My theory is based on the use of electronic magnets in place of gravity. Each person's suit is sewn with strips of certain metals, and the pull/push from close quarters from magnets (that can easily switch polarities) would cause some fun. That is the reason they could rotate him. I guess I should never have posted this particular bit, it shows my immaturity as a writer (really badly). The whole premise behind the tweaking of the corridor is to nominalize gravity for the shipmembers, who work in low-gravity conditions, and it slowly builds so as to allow for them to grow acustom to the specific setup of the space station. Really doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but as I say, I'm new at this
I think I'll edit it out here, shortly. Bah.
