One of the reasons why almost every game supports remapping of the keyboard (although almost no one use it) is because it's so freightening easy... The only game I ever made, a cargame, had to store wich key did what anywhay, so you could easily remap them...

Although, I don't know how the sf3 gui has been implemented... They may have it all hardcoded, and we don't want the to delay the game another 4 months just to let you remap the keyboard, do we :)
